If anything, this budget is a money shuffling exercise, with the Treasurer taking good programs like the Building Better Regions Fund, and renaming them.Locally, there’s a cloud over the delivery of important infrastructure projects like Railway Parklands and Inland Rail. Labor has committed to their delivery but there was no detail in the budget papers about when we’ll see the money.
The one bright spot is that UniSQ’s $50 million Trailblazer funding was confirmed. This is an important project announced by the previous Coalition Government to turbocharge our region’s space industry.
