How can we help?
Many residents are unaware of the services available to them through their local member of Parliament. My office offers a range of services to the community. My electorate staff are only too pleased to assist you with any enquiries or concerns you may have.
Grants – Stronger Communities Round 7
The Morrison Joyce Government is working to keep our economy strong, and to strengthen local communities. Community Groups contribute so much to our local community, and make Toowoomba Region such a great place to live, work and raise a family.
Our Government is working to strengthen communities across Toowoomba Region, and I have secured $150,000 in Round 7 of this Programme to support up to 20 community projects that
- bring our communities together;
- strengthen social connections;
- build community participation; and
- create vibrant and viable communities into the future.
I’d like to invite organisation’s throughout the Region to apply for funding through the Stronger Communities Programme. Grants can range from $2,500 to $20,000.

The Companion Card was developed to remove the financial barrier for people with disability who require lifelong attendant care support to participate at events, activities and venues. The National Companion Card brings together state and territory programs that enable eligible people with disability who require attendant care support to participate at venues and activities without incurring the cost of a second ticket for their companion.
