Delivering Railway Parklands
I am a strong advocate for projects like Toowoomba’s Railway Parklands, a viable local solution to help ease the housing supply crunch. This project will deliver urban renewal, boost Toowoomba’s liveability, improve CBD foot traffic, and stimulate business investment.
In Government, the Liberal Nationals secured funding to get this project off the ground. The funding has been locked into the SEQ City Deal. It now must be delivered.
Our Region has waited nearly thirty years to see this urban green space become a reality.
The Albanese Labor Government and the Queensland Labor Government refuse to answer questions on why this project has stalled.
Despite repeated questions to the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the government has refused to provide further details.
