A Dutton-led LNP Government will invest $20,000 to upgrade facilities at the Gowrie Little Plain Community Hall Upgrades as part of the LNP’s plan to get Australia back on track and support regional communities.
Federal Member for Groom, Garth Hamilton, said a future LNP government was committed to investing in community groups, including through energy efficiency upgrades to tackle Labors cost of living crisis.
“The Gowrie Little Plain Community Hall is a fantastic local, public community hall in Groom that provides a great space for events, including the renowned local dances,” Mr Hamilton said.
“Ensuring the delivery of upgrades to these community facilities is an important part of my local plan and vision for our region’s future.
“Unfortunately, the price of electricity is rising under Labor’s cost of living crisis and the LNP will do everything we can to deliver cheaper energy for Australians.”
Barry Heinemann from the Gowrie Little Plain Community Hall welcomed the commitment to ensuring the hall was able to reduce operating costs.
“It is important to our hall and the broader community that these upgrades go ahead to reduce our costs and enable us to invest back into the betterment of the hall,” Mr Heinemann said.
An LNP Government will get our country back on track and help Australians to get ahead.
