Families in our community are doing it tough.
The price of housing, food, electricity and fuel is rising and placing pressure on household budgets.
During the election last year, Anthony Albanese and Treasurer Jim Chalmers promised to reduce your cost of living.
“There’s lots that we can do to ease the cost of living pressures on families to make it easier to afford grocery prices.” – Jim Chalmers, 1 May 2022.
Yet 12 months on, the price of groceries has in fact increased by another 20% here in Queensland.
They also promised to reduce electricity prices by $275, they broke that promise too.
Not only have they not reduced the cost of living, they’re raising taxes low and middle income earners.
Labor talks a big game but has no plan to provide relief for locals in our community and we need to let them know it’s not good enough.
Join our campaign today to tell Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers #TalkIsCheap and it’s time to actually DO something about the cost of living.
